Another Loss for Lohan

In the past few years, Lindsay Lohan has suffered a string of losses. Her reputation, her sanity and now…her publicist. After sticking with Lindsay through some of the roughest patches in her career, Steve Honig has finally called it quits.

Honig’s departure could not come at a worse time for the actress. Lohan has supposedly been prepping for a “comeback” that will revolve around the premier of her new Lifetime movie, Liz & Dick, next month. With only weeks left until the premier of a film that could spark a turn-around for Lindsay, this is definitely not the time to be without a publicist.

I’m sure Lohan has an intense media tour in place, complete with lots of interviews and appearances. This is not something that any celebrity, especially Lindsay Lohan, should face alone. With no one to prep her for the hundreds of interviews coming her way, it will be very easy for the actress to fall flat on her face during what is supposed to be her comeback.

Although Lindsay has been a non-stop train wreck for the last several years, many were counting on Liz & Dick to put the focus back on her acting. If this opportunity is messed up, it could result in further damage to Lohan’s career. For her sake, I hope the young actress secures a new publicist as soon as possible…because if all she has to guide her in the coming weeks is Dina Lohan, Lindsay is in serious trouble.
